Step 1.
Ingredients you need
- 2 organic, red, medium-sized apples (enough for making six delicious roses)
- the juice of half a lemon
- water
- 3 tablespoons of apricot preserve
- one sheet of thawed puff pastry
Firstly, cut the apples in two, and then remove their core. Once the core has been removed, make sure to place the apple halves on the cutting board and cut it in vertically, in thin slices.
Step 2.
Then fill a large glass bowl with water and the juice of half a lemon to it. After that, add the thinly sliced apples to the watery mixture and then microwave it for three minutes. Don’t forget to drain out the water.
Grab your bowl with 3 tablespoons of apricot preserve, add 2 tablespoons of water to it and microwave the mixture for one minute. Then unwrap one sheet of thawed puff pastry and stretch it out. Cut in 6 strips. After that spread each strip with apricot preserve and place the apple slices on the dough. If you like cinnamon, you can sprinkle with it! Fold the dough in half and roll.
